In the context of considering the 500 years of Anabaptist/Mennonite contribution to church history, Holyrood leadership decided to offer a series on the Sermon on the Mount.  This first of five sermons by Jesus in the book of Matthew (Matthew 5-7)  was a central blueprint for early Anabaptist in the early years of the Radical Reformation (1525 ff.) The Sermon on the Mount offers both comfort and challenging teachings for us to consider if we are committed to following the Jesus Way.  Using Jesus’ clear and challenging teachings, Pastor Suzanne Gross encourages us to push away all that stands in the way of writing God’s laws on our hearts.
